How does Motorhome Shipping to the USA work?

Step 1 – Quotation

Once you have entered your details you will receive a comprehensive quotation covering all of the expected shipping costs in a matter of minutes for your review and consideration

Step 2 – documentation and confirmation

Send us a copy of your documents and when you’d like us to ship:

  • shipping date
  • Port to ship to

We will then process your booking, and in a few days provide you a booking confirmation.

We will then start working on your delivery documentation and the export process.

Step 3 – Shipping documents and delivery

Around 14 days prior to the shipping date, we will send you a full package of shipping information covering the following

USA Temporary import

Tourists are normally allowed  their vehicle in the USA for up to 12 months on a temporary import permit.

USA Sailing schedules

There is normally one vessel per week, leaving from Liverpool, Antwerp and Hamburg.

The sailing time ranges between eight and 12 days

additional options are also available from Southampton, Zeebrugge and Bremerhaven.

Vehicle insurance is required to legally drive your vehicle in the USA and Canada, with your booking we will provide you a list of insurers which you can contact for a quotation

How much does it cost to ship to the USA?

The price depends on the size of your vehicle, the length x the width x height = the vehicles cubic metres (CBM), this usually determines the price of shipping.

When do i have to deliver my vehicle

Normally, you would have to deliver your vehicle around four working days prior to the sailing date. However this is dependent on specific vessel

When will I be able to collect my vehicle

Normally you would be able to collect your vehicle around 2 to 3 working days after the vessels arrival. It is important to note that sailing dates are only estimates and there is a possibility of delay. Therefore you should always plan to be flexible
